Doesn’t “Freedom of Religion” necessarily mean freedom from religion? “Nobody is forcing religion on you.” Oh? I don’t know where you live, but, the currency of my country endorses its favorite god and I have no choice but to exchange that currency which adds my endorsement. It also misrepresents me internationally. Don’t get me wrong, I can comfortably stand quiet for a minute while the majority shares a prayer at some event or other. That is their right to do that and when I attend such a public event, I consent to that and would never protest it, publicly or otherwise. But with currency, I am given no choice. It is imposed upon me by my own government. That, in my opinion, is a blatant violation of the first amendment to our constitution.
