Religion? Why? People get lost in the ridiculous details without regard for the source and the over-all picture of things. It has been said, the bible is like a man in that if you torture either enough, it will say what you want it to. “The Bible” is a collection of works from many sources. It has been edited repeatedly over the years and is not a reference source for anything. I’ve yet to find a religion that was worthy of my devotion. Chances are good that I never will since I’m not looking any more. I’m not putting anyone down for what they believe, certainly I don’t claim to know everything. But, I’m not going to make stuff up to fill the gaps either. If it helps you, and doesn’t harm you or someone else, then good for you. But for me, I don’t pray.
